Geneva Motor Show: very eco, poor security

I'm not sure the car in the mobility of the future will still have the same weight it had in the last century. Yet, despite the crisis in the sector, despite the forecasts of medium-long term have a scenario with a few global players, in Geneva were all brands. But it all. A must for the historic hall. A tour of the two halls of the Geneva Motor Show and a strong impression: you bet on eco-sustainability of the models, much less security. Perhaps we take for granted, but an exhibition should showcase the most important aspects of the car. I understand, however, accounts that aesthetics more than anything (and in fact the cars are constantly exposed polished). The second aspect of communication is strongly linked to environmental performance: models expose all the houses (or concept cars) which describes with stickers, posters and label the environmental performance of the car. Of all Renault seems to be a step forward, but as had happened with the EuroNCAP stars, is showing commercials in its efforts to build clean vehicles: Renault Fluence will be available in late 2011

As evidence of how they all move on this plane, Ferrari also has a hybrid model of unusually colored green. Would you buy a green Ferrari?
Less space to road safety, said. Both in the fitting of the stands, both in the explanatory vehicle, this aspect is almost never present. In a single brand, the EuroNCAP stars were obvious: the Toyota Prius. Throughout the rest of the exposure, I have not met.

Many cars, so at the show. But there will be room for everyone?
