"Ergo crosswalks" ergonomic pedestrian crossings

In the moment we tend naturally to pedestrians along the shortest route possible. In many cases this means, basically saying go diagonal trajectories that make us get out of the crosswalk (never happened?). So why not imagine the pedestrian crossings that bend by following these behaviors?

From these considerations evidently started the designer Jae Min Lim in his Koreano project exposed to the Seoul International Design Competition 2010 .

This will make available to the pedestrian area would be smaller and more possible points of conflict with motorists, in the interest of road safety. What do you think?
