The manager, commuters, and the future of the slide

This blog is a bit 'on vacation. With limited access to the internet. Today we are able to post something and I stumbled upon two models under the eyes of individual mobility. Likely to extremes. But both very recent and already seem to register some success in terms of acceptance by users.

The first is the much awaited ULTra , futuristic transport system, electrical and automatic open these days to Heathrow , London's main airport. It 'a service that connects the parking with the terminals (in particular, Terminal 5): the "vehicles" carrying 4 passengers in an absolutely quiet and comfortable. All information here .

It looks like this:

The second is an entirely different technology. We are in Holland, but I do not know exactly where. The site is in Dutch and difficult to understand, of course. No longer directed to the business of the city, but rather to commuters and to those who attended the Metro every day. Basically it's a big slide available for those who do not want to use the stairs. trivial, probably. But, apparently is doing a remarkable success record.
