We talked again, most recently, post-crash interventions with the aim to intervene in the shortest time possible relief ( eCall ) and to operate as quickly as possible rescuers ( rescue sheet ).
There are other possible actions, rather than simple that local communities can promote. I cite an example that was recently launched in Alabama (US9 with the program "Yellow Dot" ). It 'a pretty simple tool that works much like the rescue sheet: while the latter provides rescuers with information on how to facilitate the opening of the car to extract the injured trapped inside, the first general but gives valuable information the person (blood types, health information, contact names, ect.).
And 'most useful if the driver involved in the accident can not talk or communicate physically. Especially useful for older people (the origin of the program is this ...). People can register for free in a series of public offices in the state emit a kind of yellow sticker that is placed in one of the side rooms of people, in an accessible position for rescuers. A sticker is placed in the left-hand passenger side window to inform rescuers of the presence on board of the personal information of the person involved in the incident.
It is simple and inexpensive programs to reduce the consequences of an accident that can be started on a voluntary basis, but who need a secure and strong communication in order to find the necessary endorsement by the users.
