Lounge atmosphere in this establishment that turns into a restaurant, pub, the place for business, bear bars, cigar lounge in the historic heart of Brussels. Fine restaurant, site of a former bank, with an initial environment for cockatail, drinks and a restaurant area for those who eat alone (business lunch) or dinner for two: entering on the left, in fact, two small tables or places to view kitchen and bar. And 'the modern area.
But the real power lies in the main hall of the restaurant, which is characterized by a time that will undoubtedly was the lobby of the bank. Dim lighting, that at some point in the evening are lowered further, elegant, waiters with a strange split in half between a monastic order and a military order: with colleagues, we do not particularly appreciated, but it is certainly characteristic.
If you want to eat comfortable, do not be put in the two wings of the central hall: the seats are probably more convenient for an after-dinner cocktails and dining.
With everything that's around the food becomes almost a detail (which the restaurant is not good), but I enjoyed eating a plate of duck served with roasted new potatoes and green beans, beer, Duvel (d ' obligation in Belgium) and an attractive red fruit dessert with the unmistakable name (adondance de fruit rouge): 40.00 euros.
Fish is also served and "entree", our appetizers, though here usually prefer to serve a unique dish. Dishes for vegetarians.
I recommend it, especially for the environment, very special.
